Here’s our follow up to our last video, “Balloon”. We call this “My Love is a Balloon” based on a stanza in a poem, “Boy, a Cake and a Balloon” by Wini Hartzenberg. My old friend Bruce More introduced us to Wini in South Africa after meeting her on a choir trip.
This one features dear friends Judd Miller on Electronic Valve Instrument (EVI) and José Sanchez on drums and percussion. Judd came into the studio and recorded several different parts with the amazing EVI and José recorded all his parts at his home studio on Salt Spring Island, BC (José’s my next door neighbor there).
